Cheese making, cheese sales, charcuterie plates, picnic tables, good selection of wines and drinks. Located near the Morteratsch Staz, this scenic, quaint, and unique place is worth seeking out for lunch, a picnic, or just to watch the cheese making process. Our charcuterie lunch was...More

The "Heutaler" of this cheesery is certainly one of the best Swiss hard cheeses. You can also buy it at the "Sennerei" in the midst of Pontresina.

After a lovely walk we took a break at the Alp-Schaukäserei, which was an interesting experience. We were treated to a sensational cheese platter.
