We strongly recommend Saas Fee. The pistes go up to 3700m and skiing is possible even in summer, see Felskinn. Great glacier sceenery. Super powder snow. Excellent installations. Top skiing 2 years season pass that makes it possible to come 2x 1 week per year...More
The ski resort is well equipped and made us fall in love with the views. You can practically try every snow sport such as skiing, snowboarding, ice hockey and ice skating. There is plenty of schools where you can take lessons for any sport and...More
The village is beautiful, and is exactly what you want when skiing in the alps. Top marks for character.

Saas-Fee Switzerland is definitely a summer winter sports paradise. You can go glacier skiing (which is what I was doing), hiking, mountain bike riding or try one of the other activities. Such a beautiful resort in Summer, I would wander around in the afternoon after...More

Have been to Saas Fee about 15 times over the past 10 years, generally staying 1-2 weeks. Always in July to September and the hiking is fantastic!!! Great hiking around the mountains on both sides of the Saas valley. Great exercise and even better views....More
We knew we wanted to hike and also get a feel of Switzerland on our honeymoon. What we didn't know was that we'd end up finding Wonderland. The sights are astonishing, sunrises leave you breathless, the peaks are impressive to say the least,...More

Best to buy tickets in advance as they will be much cheaper - check the SBB website for Supersaver tickets, these are limited in number and will tie you to a specific train time etc but the savings are quite substantial... More

From Geneva the easiest way is by train to Visp and then bus to Saas Fee. The bus ride is really scenic but if winding roads with steep drops aren’t your thing then sit on the right hand side of the bus on the way there! Taxis operate from the bus station in Saas Fee as it is a car free village but many of the hotels have their own taxi which will come and collect you from the bus station.
