We went up to gain some incredible views of Adelboden and the surrounding areas. Despite the cable car being busy we soon dispersed once at the top and enjoyed the sunshine and views with some amazing walks. Saw lots of flora and fauna too as...More

Tschenten is often forgotten by mainstream tourists as they all head to Sillerenbühl. Tschenten only has 4 runs and one lift and is in the shadow, however there are not many people so on busy days it's a great place for half a day of...More

Being on Tschentenalp you have a great view on all sides of the valley and beyond. It has several hiking trails back to Adelboden Dorf/Village. This includes some trails which are more suited for starting the hiking week or for beginners as well as for...More

We went to Tschentenalp as part of our extended weekend away in Adelboden. Used the late ticket to go up (after 3:30pm) so only paid CHF 5 per person for a return trip, which is a bargain considering the general price levels in the country....More

Cable car goes up straight from the heart of Adelboden. Stunning views over Adelboden and it's surrounding mountains. House mountain for paragliding. Skiing is a bit limited with only two lifts available but for one day it is great.

This little ski area is conveniently placed in Central Adelboden but there are basically 3 (quite difficult) pistes which are not skiable unless there is a lot of snow.

We came here in the summer. The views are stunning and there are walks of varying degrees of capability including one which is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The restaurants serve really good food too.
