We were recommended this place by El Bambu hotel in Sarapiqui, and we were not disappointed. We wanted to do some mid range white water rafting. The trip took us down the Sarapiqui river for nearly two hours on a wonderful 2-3 level rapids rafting trip. There was only the two of us with our two guides. Hansel (our main... More

We went here twice - rafting and horseback riding and couldn't fault either. The river was low and the rapids were not as rapid as they could be but the guides were good and getting the opportunity to swim was great! The horses we had were good and the ride through fields, by the river and through the first was... More

I have taken several mission trip teams here for a free day. Here are a few things to expect: 1. Zip Line Canopy Tour - I believe there are nine zip lines. My wife had a great fear about doing this. After the first line, the fear turned into exhilaration! You start from the ground and zip to platforms in... More

We took our very first canopy tour here. We were as couple joined in with two classes that were on schooltrip. So in total about 40 people with about 10 guides. The explanation at the start was good and as we went as number 10 the hold up was not that long. They have 9 ziplines and every zipline has... More

My idea of thrilling outdoor activities is reading a book about them☺ Our 12-member tour group gathered at the reception/restaurant area overlooking the river that had been elevated by a request for the upstream dam to release enough water to speed along the rubber rafts. While at an early lunch that I was sure would be tossed overboard, I heard... More

It's all about your guide and ours was good. A little more instruction about paddling would have led to better teamwork, i.e. the front paddlers were novices and had not been told that they would set the pace. But it really doesn't matter, it's a Funtime. Rapids were class 2-3, enough to make this 68 year heart race a few... More

We took the canopy tour with this fabulous company. What a thrill. First time either of us ever went on a Zip Line and it was great. The Guides were excellent. Carefully explained everything and took many safety precautions. They were pleasant and helpful...took the fear away! We also white water rafted with this same Adventure Company (please see my... Very exciting rafting (Class 2 and 3 rapids) on the Sarapiqui River in northeast Costa Rica (Heredia Province). Safe with excellent guides (ask for James). Helmets and life vests provided along with safety training. Midway through trip there is a stop for rest and fresh pineapple. Diving from raft and swimming is permitted at select spots. Many water birds and... More

This was included as part of a package we booked with a travel agent. It included canopy (zipline), rafting and lunch. My wife and I have done canopy tours a bunch of times. This was was fun it had a rainforest feel and it was pouring rain when we went. At first I was a little concerned but it was... More

We had the best time here! I cannot recommend this enough! I'm not a particular strong swimmer (nor my sister) but this is completely safe and the guides are great. Such an adrenalin rush and so worth doing if you are in the area. Great place to spot, toucans, sloths and iguanas too.
