After we checked out of our room we had time to kill before fly out so we book a massage and a facial. Upon arriving the host was warm and welcoming. The staff lovely. Great service worth the time but not cheap comparing to Australia prices. But it is a remote location and a huge resort with overheads.

Nice clean facilities.
Staff lovely.
Reasonably priced.
Easy to get a booking.
Not the biggest variety of wraps, although a fair selection of facials and massages.
Overall good, although not the 5+ star spa treatment that we have had at other locations.

We did a couples massage. We were able to pick which oil blend we preferred individually, and was then treated to an hour massage which incorporated head to toe treatments. Was wonderfully relaxed following.

We received 30 minute back massages as part of our package and we weren' t disappointed. Beautiful facility, atmosphere and great quality massages. We were considering paying extra to get a full hour, but it was quite pricey if not part of the package, especially when there are $13, 30 minute massages available in town, albeit not in the same beautiful private surrounds.

We received a voucher for 2 x 30 minutes spa/massage sessions as part of our Rasa Ria accommodation package.
Although it was all on the one voucher they were quite accommodating about allowing my wife and I to use our entitlement on different days, and it was easy to catch the shuttle from the Ocean Wing to The Spa (adjoining the Dalat Golf Course) about 5 minutes away.
They were quite thorough in obtaining medical history etc. prior to commencing the treatment, and you are given your choice of 4 different aroma’s for the massage oil/cream.
After completing my foot/leg massage my masseur suggested working on my back as it was probably contributing to my ankle problems.
She continued working on me for approx’ 20/25 minutes beyond my booked/paid session and did not ask for or expect extra payment.
Very relaxing, and most beneficial for my condition (for the next few days).
I’ll also mention that we had a voucher for Reflexology which was carried out by “Raymond” beside the pool. Once again, most relaxing, and I felt that it also was beneficial in easing my ankle problems.

I stayed in Rasa Ria hotel and went to have a massage in The Spa. Cosy spa facilities and very nice and helpful personnel.
I would highly recommend the Spa-therapist Appolonia. I asked for a deep tissue massage, and she performed it on a very high level of professionalism. I liked it so much that I booked a few treatments with her.

We tried the aromatic massage as a couple and it was very relaxing. Although it is quite pricey. The spa is very well designed and the masseurs are professional.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a Malaysian herbal massage during our holiday at the Rasa Ria. It was bliss!!! The staff were lovely and welcoming. We were revitalised by lemongrass and pounded with hot stones, and we felt wonderful afterwards. Highly recommended!!!

Hi We are staying at the Shangri la next week Are there villages nearby that we can wander around, eat and have a massage/? Are they far away, walking distance?
Thanks
John

There are little villages along the way but not within walking distance and not that you would be able to get a massage. They are poor communities that setup little cafe and food stalls along the side of the road.
My advice is to catch the shuttle into town and grab an open air massage along the waterfront - $13AUS for 30mins. They are cheap and the ladies are excellent. They are discrete and you are not unduly exposed
