The scenery is incredible & the course is very tough - narrow fairways in places with water on nearly every hole.
I played on a day after heavy overnight rain so the course was very soft. In general, the course was in OK condition but some greens have large areas in need of repair.
Cost was approx £100 for a round + buggy + club hire (with the discount for staying at Rasa Ria hotel).
Overall experience was OK, but not amazing. Rental clubs are excellent (Titleist / Vokey / Scottish Cameron).
For a resort course experience, I would have expected a few tees, a towel to keep clubs clean & maybe a bottle or 2 of water included, however all of this was extra.
Course includes a driving range. 75MYR (~£15) for 100 balls incl. club hire & 4 soft drinks.

Had a lovely round of golf on a Friday in January, stunning day. Nice course, lots of water hazard :). Make sure to have a quick bite at the cafe, and try the Tuaran Mee!

My wife and I, came up to the golf course to have a go at the driving range and hopefully spot an otter! Thank you to Bakri for coming to get us in a buggy and take us to where the otters were and we were indeed extremely lucky to have a fantastic view of the otters. Thanks Again Bakri for going out of your way for us.

I have played Dalit Bay a few times in the past but this past weekend l took my son out for a round. From the moment we arrived and throughout the round we had a great time and the course is great for causal golfers from the forward tee's but also a challenge from the back tee's which is great when my son is just getting back into the game. As other people have said the area is beautiful and the course is kept in great condition, will be heading back again soon. The service from the team is great and they also have Big Hole golf which is great for those just starting out with the game.

I was in two minds to play on this course as part of my holiday and I am so pleased that I did.
The course is in excellent condition with quick greens.
The Titliest golf clubs were in good condition and the driver I hit straight, may need to change my clubs when I get home!
There is a lot of water and I lost 6 balls to the water, 2 because I didn’t know the lay of the course.
The views were breathtaking and one of the most picturesque courses I have ever played on.
I went round on my own and the four balls in front who had caddies let me through with a big smile, such a friendly and welcoming place to go
If you are in two minds about having a round here, take my advice and have a round you won’t regret it, I didn’t

The golf course is part of Shangri-la‘s Rasa Ria Resort and is set within a wonderful tropical estate. Water features prominently on this course, only two holes are free of water hazards...but fairways are generally wide enough so that you have plenty of space to play with.
The staff is very friendly and supportive in all aspects. A great
crew!
No wonder is this one of the top golf courses in Malaysia and well worth visiting.

Beautiful and well kept course and friendly staff. Although I lost count of my lost golf balls, it is such a nice course to play. Lots of water and it’s just so relaxing. I will enjoy even more after a do a few more round of practice. 😁

Dear Itravel0ne, I hope that you were able to avoid most of the 14 holes where water comes into play during your other rounds and were able to keep the ball straight down the middle. The course can definitely be challenging the first time round but after a few games that water becomes less troublesome. Great to read that you still enjoyed yourself.

We came to Kota Kinabalu four days ago with friends. Staying at the Shangri La’s Rasa Ria and playing golf at the Dalit Bay Golf Club, what a life. The course is well maintained and reasonably challenging, lots of water and slopes, but fun to play. The whole routine of golfing is smooth and enjoying. Special thanks to Ms Madziah, the lady at the tee off counter, she was so helpful to inform you the traffic of the course and always try her best to make the appropriate arrangements. Mr Daud, I met him at the pro-shop. He not only gave me valuable information about the course and was kind enough to share his thoughts about my swing, which has totally leaded to my very good game yesterday. I love Dalit Bay and will definitely come back. Terima Kasih

Great customer service from Aaron and his team. I highly recommend signing up on the '9 hole visitors versus management'. A great concept. We also played the full 18 the next day, the back nine was challenging though enjoyable and had some beautiful backdrops of the beach and mountain Kota Kinabalu.
We stayed at the Rasa Ria resort, which is about a 2 minute drive to the golf club via a free shuttle bus. Plus the golf club has an awesome day spa which perfect for yourself or your partner.
The golf fees are competitive and fair. The quality of the clubs for hire exceeded our expectations. For example: old and new AP1 & AP2 Titleist sets, also Callaway.
Keep up the great work Aaron your certainly on a winner.

Please advise if the green fees are included if you are a hotel guest. If not what is the price of green fees and a buggie. Thank you
