We went on a trip through our holiday rep, we bused to a power boat which took us out for a spot of snorkeling and then onto a natural pool which is actually a sand bank with crystal clear waters and giant star fish, then onto the island which is absolutely stunning with beautiful beaches where we had a great... I went there in katamaran tour. We had fun on the katamaran drinking rhum and dancing but once at the island, there was not much to do. We just enjoyed the beach with crystal clear water and swim a little. Do not expect to have a blast on the island. It was calm....a little BBQ...and back we go.

Absolutely stunning!! Loved it! We did a full day speed boat excursion to Saona. Starfish, lunch, the village tour of Mano Juan and then the absolute best beach I have ever seen! We were the only ones there. Simply awesome!

We did a full day excursion from our resort and loved the catamaran to the island. The natural beauty of the island is stunning. The water is clear aqua and the beach is soft, white sand and we enjoyed walking along it and taking pictures with a local photographer. He was very professional and snapped perfect shots on one try!... More

After a 2 hour catamaran ride that was crammed with people, we went to a beautiful island, which again was crammed with people, there were no activities, just lay on the beach, if you were fortunate enough to get a chair. A 20 minute line up for lunch. Then went to get pictures taken with starfish, where one died, as... More

We loved our boat ride and our visit to the Isla of Saona! The BBQ lunch was the best meal we had on the entire vacation!

Me and my boyfriend came here in November. This is the closest thing to paradise we have ever experienced! It was the most relaxing, romantic and beautiful experience and would go back in a heart beat! 100% not something to miss out on!

we got to the island on a catamaran and spent a day on it. The employees were all in an amazing mood and offered food. Bring some $ for the "vip" lunch that has fresh lobster. Also it is worth paying for the fancy pineapple and coconut with rum in it... they were expensive but got us quite drunk. we... More

We took this excursion after hearing about it from lots of sales people. Our landlord got us a good deal. We were picked up at our apartment and driven to the boat where we boarded a speed boat. I think we were supposed to get on the catamaran there so this boat actually took us to the catamaran. We had... More

Amazing pure nature, very good for snorkeling, swimming. We have made hundreds of photos. Just imagine - white sand, beatiful palms, sun and you can walk alone along the crystal turquoise sea. This is not crowdy place like others. Simply saying the touch of paradise in paradise...
