Melfi Castle was our main reason for going to Melfi on our trip to the Puglia region of Italy and we were certainly not disappointed. While you can certainly see the outside for free, the admission fee was so reasonable we decided to check it...More

Not a lot to see inside but you have to pay. Photos from the outside does the trick for me. Great views of the countryside around.

Inside the castle is a great exhibit of archeological finds from the region. It was a fascinating display worth many times the 250 price of admission. It is not to be missed.
