I dare say if you have visited plantations in India this might be disappointing. We have never visited anywhere like it and the scenery alone was incredible. We enjoyed the tour around... More

A bit of sunshine made our visit even more pleasant, thus we made a few nice pictures, as the scenery is very nice, especially the wood area on the side of the road, on the way to the shop. So many beautiful palm trees covered with red colours in some places. We have seen deers and black swans. Then we... More

Tour, museum and tea tasting was 500MUR per adult which I did think was a little expensive - however I thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour lasted approx 50 mins The tea tasting... More

It is not the fault of the factory managers, that Mauritius has not elevations to produce high quality tea. But: If you know the georgeous teaplantations of India, Indonesia and/or China, you will be as disappointed, as I am.No picturesque lush green and groomed hillsides here! The camelia are badly groomed, and mostly by machine, no hand plucking worth mentioning.... More

Despite there were a sitting among the employees and we could not visit the factory. We were keen to taste the different flavor of tea. No one was at the entrance to welcome us. I went in the kitchen where all the staff were sitting and chatting joyfully to ask to be served. We asked for some biscuits with our... More

We passed bu this towards the middle of our afternoon tour with our taxi driver and asked if he could stop. We were so glad we did. We had a tour of the factory and met some local workers, the museum was facinating and then we had the privilege of tasting the tea. Tea tasting was at the most picturesque... More
