The entire city of Jardin can be considered a historic center, but the main streets are simply wonderful. The colonial architecture is beautiful, with well-preserved facades, and a lovely, great, peaceful vibe to walk around.

A number of people told me to get to Jardin before it is 'discovered' so off I went. Three hours from Medellin by bus on curvy roads. Well worth the effort! On the weekend this town rocks with Colombians from Medellin filling the plaza. During...More

The central plaza is a delightful garden-like setting. Lots of trees, shrubs and a fountain, surrounded by patio area were you can sip coffee or nibble on lunch. It is obviously a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Great atmosphere to relax and spend...More

Like its surroundings the center of Jardin is beautiful and relaxing. Not a lot of things to do here besides hikes and getting to know the locals, but I found the latter to be particularly easy, at least with some Spanish. Enjoyed it much more...More

Hard to find places as authentic and charming as the Historic Center of Jardin. Watching the locals, drinking the cafe tinto, taking it all in. Loved it!

Authentic village with nice coffee spots, also you can get some authentic souvenirs. Colorful and you can get great views of the mountains where the coffee plantations are.

This is where the action is. Still, pretty local place with some fun spots for food and drinks. Nice fresh market too. Chill, have a drink and enjoy.

Best part about this place is joining the locals, who sit around outside the surrounding restaurants, bars and tiendas literally from sun up until past sun down! It’s very quaint and at night the food stalls come out serving a variety of food (hamburger 5k,...More

A beautiful cobbled plaza, with colourfully painted shop fronts and made more stunning by the surrounding mountains and the hand painted chairs and tables that they place in the square. It is quite lively late afternoon, and a great place to have a drink and...More

Jardin is a nice, small town in the mountains, colder than Medellin, temperature goes from 50-70, can be a little cold at night due to the nearest high peaks. It's safe and people is friendly, there are decent local hotels to stay, it's on the...More
