we hv no idea the route to Kelanang Beach will take us around 20mins or more from Pantai Morib. It was so dark and quite creepy to travel after 7.30pm as the village area was very quiet.
we wont go there anymore. not many enticing things to see. perhaps the beach should be reached during day time.
if there is anything emergency happen the town is quite far to reach any help.

I rather go here at Kelanang Beach rather than Morib Beach. It fulfilled my wants and needs. Breezy wind and shady with more trees. More parking lot spacess and restaurants to choose from. But just becareful with the wild monkeys that follows you when you carry food plastic bags. They have kids playground and picnic tables and benches. Restrooms are available together with the camping spots. You can see the Rescue Boat near the JPAM tower who is the coast guard. The sea embankments are quite visible from the beach. Local fishermen normally hand trawling with fish nets and that you don't see everyday. (^_^)

First and foremost, Super Windy as the sun sets. If you're looking for a place to release your stress and tension, this is one of the best beach one should visit!!My sisters and I usually drive there after work just to watch the beautiful Sunset. Highly recommended for Peace Loving People :)

Well maintain, clean and long beach. The wind here is cooler than others. Maybe there is more tree planted along the beach. Very relaxing walking or jogging at the beach. Beside the beach is a food court which provided varies local food

One of the reason Pantai Kelanang earns 3 stars for me is because I see some of the local / visitors enjoy their time, even though they aware of the wild monkeys roaming around, waiting their opportunity to steal your food.
A very organized parking lot, but I'm not sure if it's enough for the tourist, especially on the weekend. Taking my time walking on the beach, and yes, I can confirm that the water is not suitable for swimming - unless you don't care about your skincare. No lifeguard on duty, even though you see a Life Guard tower.
For a picnic, not really and not recommended due to the wild monkeys, and for swimming, not recommended. For relaxing and enjoy good fresh air, yes.

Went there at night time. Nothing exciting...most of the decorative light is either not working or vandalized. Don't waste time visiting this area.

The foodcourt is swarmed with flies. Rubbish strewn all over place. The sheds are all occupied and they look like homeless tents, with people bringing the whole kitchen sink there.

Hi, any latest update on this place? Is it ok to go for a weekend getaway? Can travel by car right?

Yes. You can come on weekend. Can travel by car using a very narrow country road which is not recommended for inexperienced drivers.
