About
Just a 30-minute drive from Klang is Morib Beach, one of the closest beaches to Kuala Lumpur and a popular recreational spot amongst locals. Visit during low tide to see the shore stretch for several miles into the Straits of Malacca, and to spot clams and other shellfish. Families will love kite-flying, rollerblading along the promenade, and having a picnic in the gazebos. There are also bike rentals and cafes in the area. It gets busy on weekends and public holidays, so try to visit during weekdays for fewer crowds.

Local tourist from Kuala Lumpur. Visit the (New) Morib's Beach with my family. When we arrived - around 3 pm, kind of a bit disappointed. It was chaotic place. No proper parking for the tourists, and we had to squeeze our car when parking.
I was lucky enough able to park my car near at the beach, but a bit worried about the heavy conjunction and unorganized traffic. Very limited space for me to set up my camp and had to camp near people's camp - something we should avoid during this pandemic.
The sea level reminds me of Pantai Port Dickson, and Pantai Bagan Lalang - had to wait until 6pm if we want to play in the water. You can check all the photos that I shared. Recommend you need to bring camping tent to shelter yourself from the sun and the heat, and please bring your wireless fan to cool yourself, while you spend most of your time inside the tent until 6pm.
I would not recommend this beach if you plan to visit the beach again. Maybe you should wait until next year, or come back again in 2023, afrer the Morib's community upgrades the area - if they care about the main problems because many of them lives in that area too.
For now, compare Bagan Lalang and Morib, I prefer go to Bagan Lalang for my next visit, until I have the opportunity to travel to Pantai Pengkalan Balak, Melaka.

We arrived around 10am and the tide was already low. There are good information board around the beach with cafes, bike rental point, wc, surau. But there were lot of flies. Somebody told us it is due to chicken farming nearby.

You will have a great experience when you came at this time because the water is receding. So you can collect shell and other clams at this time. The view you can saw at this time is different from other places. Because you can walk at the beach until the middle beach. But be careful because the water will rewater again without your notice. Please alert with the environment.

Quite far from kl, night time will be dark and quiet place. Nice for relaxing. The gold coast does not have much game but can do for young children

Good for afternoon and night visit. We didn't stay for the night but there were already setups for night market. Place is clean and view is nice. 🙂

We were camping at Tadom Hill and decided to come check Morib beach. We parked at Golden Sea restaurant and walked down the beach.
The formation of the sand gives me the creeps, you know when you see those dried crack ground and your goosebumps come out. Yeah that.
There's a duck farm on the beach and they are burning leaves which make the air smell worst.
There's a small waterpark further left and also what looks like an abandoned structure outside of it. There's also rubbish/plastic on the beach - dirty.
I would definitely not recommend coming here. But on the bright side the food we had at Golden Sea is pretty good.
