The island itself is worth the long travel. The sandbars are just amazing and picture perfect. The sea is calm and nice to swim. You can roam the whole island in an hour or less. Had a hard time sleeping in a tent though. Haha. We had to move our tent 3 times because the 1st 2 spots where we... More

My Friends and I travelled to Kalanggaman via Maya Bantayan Cebu. This is one of the best islands to visit, with its prestine waters, powdery like sand and the best part its not develop. You can camp out here, you can either rent a tent or bring your own,the only struggle there is no water source here but if you... More

Been going there for many years but it is really changing. It starts with the transportation there. Used to be nice friendly and affordable boat ride out to the island but now it has become expensive, not so friendly, and the reef that used to be so beautiful for snorkeling has been destroyed. The cost for a non resident has... More

I think this is one of the best beaches I've seen in the Philippines. The water is crystal clear and you can see the sunset and the sunrise in the island. You have to go camping if you want stay overnight and there are no amenities available in the island except one store (which sells beer) and toilets. You cannot... More

I was really amazed by the beauty of the place but I can't understand why there's a huge difference between the entrance fee of the local people (like me) and foreigners. Come on, it doesnt even have great facilities for foreign visitors. I am a Filipino, I've been to other countries with much more beautiful nature. They have awesome features... More

This can be added to your list to visit top list sandbar in the Philippines. It is prohibited to swim at the sandbar area but you can swim on the left side of it facing where the boat docks. Rent a chair (Php10 each) and (Php30) table instead cottage for a day tour
