Spectacular views from the top well worth the walk. Steep slopes have steel framed steps which are quite narrow and may not suit some people who have walking issues. The lower section leading to WWII gun emplacements is easier and also has spectacular views. We...More

The views are spectacular and the steep walk seems totally worth it once you are there, and then the walk down doesn't feel a thing. Went around sunset time, so the views were even better. Recommended !

The walk up tomaree is worth it Not recommended for those who are scared of heights or have trouble walking up inclines Give yourself a good 30-40 minutes to climb to enjoy the stunning view from sunrise to sunset

We enjoyed this walk. Went near sunset and it was beautiful all the way. Is certainly a bit of a workout. Good free parking at the base. Tracks were very well maintained and signed.

This was a challenging but totally worthwhile hike to the top! We were rewarded by whales frolicking off the coast. Felt impressed by myself for making it without collapsing and the view was stunning! Just take your time...not that bad at all!

The views en route and at the Summit are guaranteed to take your breath away! I was surprised to learn that it's a "Grade 5" (according to the Australian Walking Track Grading System). Yes, there are some steep sections and it's important to always walk...More

Great views at the top as well as on the way there. Look over the bay and out to sea from this well maintained and well designed walk. Awesome on a blue sky autumn day. Go early or in the afternoon in summer and take...More

There were plenty of kids doing it! Personally i wouldnt want to take a child under 6, you'll be carrying them. Its probably best suited from 8+ they all seemed to be having fun... i look forward to taking our kids back up... More
