This Museum should not be missed. Set aside at least 4hours to visit as just talking to the amazing informative volunteers will give you the most interesting facts relating to the RAF and the museum that you would ever want to hear. Some of the exhibits are so heartbreakingly poignant when you realise how young these airmen were but so... More

This was a great little find, the volunteers who work this space as so invested in the place its great to see. Everyone would go out of there way to make sure we were well informed and to answer any questions we had. if you are thinking about it, DO IT

A little gem! So much to see in a small space with some outdoor displays of aircraft as well as inside. Lots about Tangmere and its role in the Battle of Britain, SOE, WW1 aircraft. Amazing stories of heroic pilots - makes you proud to be British. Excellent museum, allow at least 2 hours. Helpful staff.

One of the best things about this museum is the army of volunteers who are so warm and enthusiastic. They are keen to tell you all about the exhibits and adapt their style for young and old. The place isnt huge but it is crammed with things to see. My young boys loved the simulators to play on and the... More

The staff are volunteers and are so knowledgeable about the exhibits. A lot of the volunteers are ex-RAF and they can also talk about their experiences whilst they were on active duty. Totally charity/donation based, they do offer membership to the museum if you want to visit more than once in a year and all the proceeds do go straight... More

Lovely museum with very knowledgeable guides. There are some activities that kids would enjoy but to be fair this is a nerd heaven. World speed records, SOE and Douglas Bader all here. Went with elderly parents - fairly accessible, just a couple of tiny steps.

Thank you. In passing, we entertained some 40 primary school visits in 2016 and expect an increased number of requests this year. More

Had a wonderful afternoon in the museum! A lot bigger than you realise! Need a good couple of hours to take most of it in! Would highly recommend the little NAAFI Tea Room! Lovely lady, very friendly and a lovely cup of coffee!!

We had a brilliant four hours visiting this absorbing museum which is full of RAF and WW11 memorabilia, we started in the large Hall which houses full size aircraft of all ages and then on to the smaller Halls which have so much fascinating material including detailed exploits of some truly brave men, including of course Douglas Bader who flew...
