A modestly situated and laid out museum that sits on the edge of what used to be an important Battle of Britain airfield. Much to see including some insights into SOE special flights during WW2

So good my children didn't want to leave. The volunteers had so much time for us explaining all the exhibits and keeping the children entertained. The displays are fantastic with lots of buttons to press for the little ones to enjoy. 2 hours easily spent.

Small by most museum standards, but full of very interesting items and history.Brought back memories of going to the last air shows here in the 1960's with examples of many of the British jets from that golden era.

As already advised, only assistance dogs are allowed inside the buildings. All dogs are welcome in the Museum's grounds and picnic area, however.

As has been reported, visitors can use the small grassed picnic area at the front of the Museum without the need to purchase food/drink from the cafeteria
