The Lux premium experience is new to HIghpoint, it seems to be a competitor to Village Gold Class. The Hoyts multiplex at Highpoint has 17 screens, plus a snack bar for popcorn and Coke, and a Ben and Jerry's icecream shack which advertises "Peace, love...More

We went to see A Quiet Place in the Lux cinema at Hoyts Highpoint last week. If you've seen the movie, you'll know it's a movie where there isn't a lot of dialogue, so it was really disappointing that the staff left the cinema door...More

Hoyts Cinema is part of the Highpoint Shopping Centre, the biggest in Melbourne's west. Hoyts cinema is very popular, especially with the younger set. It's very comfortable but get there early if you want to see a popular movie, some shows sell out.

I love watching big sci-fi movies, and I recently saw the latest Star Trek instalment at Hoyts Highpoint. Now I know such movies look and sound great on big TVs in the home, but nothing beats that comfy seats, quality sounds system and BIG screen...More

Hoyts at Highpoint is an "okay-enough" cinema theatre. It is clean, functional and has good screen sizes for it's age. The seats are somewhat smaller and less comfortable than it's major competitor (Village). Food is stock standard cinema fare - but grossly overpriced for the...More
