Our school offers high quality kitesurfing and windsurfing tuition with IKO...

Our school offers high quality kitesurfing and windsurfing tuition with IKO certified instructors (International Kitesurfing Organization) with the latest and safest equipment. We are located in Nonsuch Bay, on the windward shore of Antigua, where the trade winds blow strong and constant. The bay is completely closed by the reef and offers a condition of warm and flat water, ideal to learn and progress. Updated equipment, newest teaching methods and power boat assistance make the best combination for your perfect learning experience.
The kitesurfing lessons will start from the beach of Green Island, a tiny island windward to Nonsuch bay, with white sand and crystal blue water; a perfect landing/launching area for kites.

I went to 40 Knots school to try out kitesurfing and really loved it. The location on green island is excellent, easily one of the most beautiful places in Antigua and with fantastic wind and space to learn. I had a few different instructors due to booking random lessons around other sightseeing trips with my partner but all the instructors... More

On top of being right at the resort, 40knots brings the kiting experience to a new level. The entire group is friendly and ready to make your time in Antigua a good one. They motor out to the private island, called Green Island. From there, there are 40knot team members ready to assist with setting up your kite and launching... More

I completed a two day course with 40Knots back in November - it was fantastic! We had Johann as our instructor, he was extremely knowledgable and a very capable instructor. We were up and going in no time, with was testament to his instruction and of course the flat conditions. Green Island is a stunning place to kitesurf from and... More

What can I say? The teachers and staff were great, more than that.... superb. The location is beautiful, the bay big and windy all day. Non-stop wind during my whole stay, and the fact that all classes were in deep water made it safe and fun. They had sails from 4 to 19sqm to mach any conditions that we encountered,... More

A very professional and very kind team. The spot is really nice for beginners or non-beginners. Very regular wind - 15/20 knots - during our stay and a very safe place. One of the best kitesurf spot & team I have ever practised with.

An unbeatable service with knowledgeable, friendly and efficient staff. A great kitesurfing venue for beginners and experts alike. The tuition and location are perfect for beginners or those wanting to progress, with the lagoon inside the reef perfect for more experienced riders. The kit is top quality and upto date. This is our 3rd year in a row and every... More

Very knowledgable people, also very encouraging. They take as much time as you need to teach you. Common phrase is 'take your time' and there is no stress just pure enjoyment!
