My husband and I have been waiting for a long time for the restoration to be finished. This beautiful Imperial tower has been restored to her former glory. We where able to climb this majestic tower (one of five towers) in Ontario, Canada.

Great little escorted tour through the museum and up to the top of the lighthouse. Watch a video on the refurbishing of the lighthouse. Climbed to the top of the lighthouse. Not for anyone who can not climb steps.

I love to see old history, so this was pretty great for those who have an inner geek. Unfortunately the museum wasn't open.. It would of to see more story boards outside.

Hi Yes the light does stay on. The Lighthouse is still used for navigational purposes as it warns sailors of the rock shoal.
