Guide was great, owner is an obnoxious scammer

I have been to Vieques over 20 times but it has been over 10 years since my last trip. Blue Caribe WAS one of the respected guide companies back then, but apparently no longer (read other reviews before booking) and unfortunately I took my family on a snorkeling trip with the name I knew and it backfired. For one when... More

They are always happy to assist in keeping all the guests family and friends safe. Also there everyone gets to see the amazing glowing waters of the bio bay, kayaking and the stars are breath taking.Truly a magical experience.

To be honest, we came to the island without much of a plan. We had our own snorkel gear and decided that we wanted to get out further on the water because we wanted to see more than what was available off shore. We went to two other dive shops to see if they had a snorkeling excursion and both... More

whether you're planning on spending time in puerto rico and just looking for a day trip, or your travel plans include a multiday stay on vieques, a trip to mosquito bay should be at the top of your list. (well, assuming you're going to be in the area on or around the new moon, as the moonlight is too bright... More

We took the advice of a local on this one and it was a mistake. We made our reservation and checked the reviews afterward, by then we faced a charge if we cancelled so decided to go ahead with the tour. Let me say that the Bio Bay is beyond words amazing. DO NOT MISS THIS!! We went during a... More

We called them as this looked like the last resort. The guy on the other end took the credit card number and said that the booking is confirmed and hanged the phone. I did not receive any booking mail or SMS. Finally, they did not even call us when we are at Vieques. We went to the Bio Bay tour... More

First the good. Rebecca, the guide, was very lively. She is a hyper cheerleader and made the experience better. The actual time in the bay was pretty good viewing although there was a lot of bad light. Angel, the other guide is knowledgeable but a little too shy. Now the not so good, not very professionally run, everything was late.... More

While visiting Esperanza for a few days in their slow season, we decided at the last minute to rent a kayak on a Sunday. We walked to Blue Caribe Kayaks that we had walked by many times, just to find it closed. We called the phone number on the sign and asked if they would be open later in the... More

I gave it two stars instead of one because the biobay itself was pretty amazing. Our experience with Blue Caribe….not so amazing. We were told to be there at 6 sharp. We were. They we about 15 minutes late. No big deal…island time. Paid our $45 each plus $10 for non DEET insect repellent. I don't know why we had... More
