This has been renovated recently with new paths and the meandering walkway to the grassy fort area makes it not so steep. Parking spaces available. Fantastic views on your way up.

I'm pleased to see the N Ireland Tourist Board finally able to celebrate its historical sites. This coronation spot for the historic kings is well restored with a snaking pathway to the top of the 'fort' --- merely a clearing --- with regular information boards...More

We live locally but had never visited here before. Decided to take the dog for a walk. Free entry and parking. Amazing views of the town from the top of the hill. Steep walk but well worth it. I would definitely recommend to visitors.
