The visitors Centre was lovely to look at and did not detract from the view. The information and gift shop where lovely and the staff so nice especially the lady with pink hair that stood outside and welcomed us because I have a lovely chat...More

Everyone goes to see the famous causeway and many probably don't realize the actual causeway is free, thus they finish up paying to enter the visitor centre even if they don't want to spend time therein. The Giant's Causeway itself is an amazing world-famous natural...More

We didn't spend much time in the Visitor's Center, but we purchased our tickets there and picked up the audio tour. Most of your time will be spent outside exploring the stones. When we were finished with the stones we returned to the Center to...More

Cool place to visit before you take the guided tour. One of the fun parts was a place to take a video with your choice of background and pretend to be there (outside). The video is then emailed to you later.

I went to the Causeway in October 2010, before the new visitor centre was built, and again very recently in October 2017. The difference was incredible, though the weather and the geology were exactly the same! The exhibition and films inside the centre are well...More

The NT are charging people £10 to access the visitors centre but not making it very clear that the Causeway its self is free and a public right of way. Most people are not bothered about the exhibition and gift shop etc so could just...More

A modern facility which houses a restaurant / coffee shop, some displays and a shop selling crafts and souvenirs. Incredibly expensive admission fee (members free), especially as entry to the visitor centre is not a prerequisite to accessing the spectacular Giants Causeway landscape. Would recommend...More

The visitor centre at the Giant's Causeway is the largest of all our tourist stops in Ireland. The gift shop has a HUGE selection. From clothing to books to any kind of nick-nack you would want. The cafe was a great respite after walking the...More

I liked that this gift shop had only merchandise produced in Ireland by Irish artisans. The informational display that was at the entrance explained this geological marvel well. The restrooms were nice and clean. The snack bar, however, was lacking. There was very little to...More

Hi Kevin, I was not looking out for wheelchair access but I believe the point of the shuttle buses is to help those eg with disabilities reach the causeway, so I assume they are probably able to accommodate wheelchairs... More

I don't know what I can add to the answer you have received as I agree with the other reviewer. I would NOT want to push a wheelchair down nor up that slope. But the bus is a wonderful alternative. I believe the beauty and... More
