Have been here a good handful of times, can never get bored of the place. Always great to see the animals on show and to have the chance to get up close and personal with some in the petting shed. This place is great for all ages. There's a good selection of animals in a small place but bare in... More

The first rare breed we encountered was a rather large bird at the reception desk who resembled a very grumpy human....I guess if you pay peanuts....you get monkies. There are a lot of animals....sorry chickens....and a few others in terrible cramped conditions. The animals with the most space for their size was the lemurs! Felt sorry for the Emus who... More

As an activity therapist for a nursing home it can be difficult to come up with ideas to try and keep our residents stimulated. I keep up with the idea of bringing animals to the nursing home and was delighted to find that an option existed locally. The staff were excellent friendly and professional. The animals were amazing and clearly... More

My son and I took my 5 year old grandaughter here today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Though the surrounding are a bit dishevelled after the winter what it lacked in fancy surroundings it made up for in the pleasant young staff at the animals. They were so pleasant and more than helpful and willing to tell you about the animals... More

I visited here along with my young daughter, my friend and her young son. I have been here several times before over the course of a couple of years. The animals were very friendly and my daughter enjoyed petting a range of them. There are always improvements taking place and the park is expanding all the time. The picnic area... More

First Impressions of this place were not good and as we went round we all became a little worried about the welfare of the animals here. All the cages and pens were in a poor state of repair and some of the birds looked in poor condition. Many did not have water to drink and none seemed to have food,... More
