We were a walking group who enjoyed the hospitality and expertise of Ernie and Ann for several days in September. Ernie met us on arrival at Coleraine station, and delivered us to Belfast airport at the end of our stay. We benefited from our hosts' comprehensive knowledge of the many walking routes and magnificent viewpoints that this undervalued region has... More

No rooms available to stay at Waters Edge but Ernie was exceptional in assisting us for our walk along the coast from Port Stewart through to the rope bridge. His knowledge of the walks and history of the area is excellent value adding to our trip. If you want to walk the coast then Ernie is the one to talk... More

One of the best B&B's I've ever stayed in. From the moment my 2 friends & I arrived nothing was too much trouble. Ann & Ernie made us feel so welcome. Their knowledge of the local area & coastal walks is 2nd to none. Rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was delicious & always gave you the energy you needed for the... More

Hearty welcome by Ernie and Ann into their lovely home. Spotless rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful views from all rooms overlooking the Portstewart Beach. Short coastal walk to restaurants, pubs and ice creameries. Ernie and Ann were very knowledgable and happy to provide all information we needed making the Anthrim Coast Walk all the more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

The most welcoming place we've ever stayed with fantastic rooms, looking out into the sea, comfy beds and good quality and generous amounts of food . Thank you for your kind review. We are pleased you enjoyed your time with us and would like to return sometime. You and any of your group would be most welcome at any time. It was a pleasure to have met you and we are glad you enjoyed your walks, despite the inclement weather, on the beautiful Causeway Coast. More

Our visit to Northern Ireland and our stay at Water's Edge was my dream come true- a beautiful homestay and perfect hikes arranged daily. No need to carry a backback; our days began with a superb breakfast, followed by a daily walking trip arranged by Ernie, complete with maps and descriptions of our hike. Anne provided us with a bagged... More

I just returned from 4 wonderful days with Ernie and Anne Bogle at the Water's Edge B&B. This comfortable and beautifully kept house overlooks the sea and is convenient for walking along the coastal path and into the town. Ernie could not have been more accommodating, helping us to arrange our hiking each day. We were able to hike from... More

Downtown and center of town area is great for kids and there is plenty to keep children entertained but I found the prices for the childrens rides, activities and bouncy houses to be very inflated. The small rides and activites are not amazing or in the best shape but they are charging 2-4 pounds for every activity. When you have... More

We enjoyed a fabulous family holiday with Ann and Ernie. They couldn't do enough for our two very young children with two cots assembled in our room complete with resident Portstewart Teddy Bear and a basket of cars and tractors to amuse our toddler! Our room was fabulous - bright and airy. The breakfasts are second to none and we... More
