Bloomers of Bakewell is a bakery established in this lovely English town for more than 100 years. Most famous for being the proud producer of Bloomers Original Bakewell Puddings with a recipe more than 135 years old. There are so many lovely little shops in Bakewell and a lot of them claim to have the original recipe for the Bakewell Tart. Make your own mind up and give this little shop a visit.

This is the place to get the original Bakewell pudding - such an amazing taste, when I got home I ordered more which arrived safe and well 2 days later. Will be using them again!

On a day out to Bakewell,we discovered this charming little shop selling local produce and their speciality Bakewell pudding. The pudding was delicious, as was the pork pie and lovely egg custard. The staff were very helpful and suggested some excellent Derbyshire cheeses.
