We spent less than an hour here as there was not much to do and it certainly wasn't worth the £12 entry fee. The 'small animal barn' is a few rabbits in hutches. Food in the cafe was poor and overpriced.

We think this one is a bit unfair and could mislead you into believing we only have rabbits and charge an admission of £12/person to see them. When in fact at the time of this review, our Winter offer would have been on, where £12 would have bought you entry for a family of 4, giving an average entrance price... More

Not a lot to do there, not many animals there and needs a refresh. Went to see Santa, was in and out in about 2 minutes. Was quite expensive and had to pay extra for animal food which for the price should be included. Also had a drink there, got a childs hot chocolate that was too hot for a... More

First visit to Matlock farm park and we will definatley be returning! Good value for money, the cafe served lovely food. Even an indoor area with crafts and a bouncy castle. Great to see all the different animals. Staff were friendly and accommodating :)

Went with my two daughters (5 & 2) and nephew (5) and had a really good time. I only had to pay for me and the missus as kids went free as part of a deal. As we went alittle later in the afternoon we went for some food first and had chips and sausage roll. Both were very nice... More

Took my daughter, son-in-law and grandkids here today. Saw Santa, played on the bouncy castle, fed the goats, pigs, sheep, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, geese, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, played on all three playgrounds, had a simple but really tasty and well-prepared lunch, very reasonably priced. Staff could not have been more helpful, cheerful and welcoming. Great Family Christmas Experience - cannot... More

Visited here twice this summer and wasn't disappointed. Food is good andof average price and has a specials board.the cafe itself is plain, simple but functional for a farm visit.only downside is the toilets are a good walk away but do have good baby changing area.we will go again when reopens in the spring.

Had a short break camping and popped in here. Lovely day, feeding the animals, had a close encounter with a snake, Rocky, very cute! Set out really well and the animals well cared for and cute! The guy with the snake was very friendly and informative.

I visited the farm on the 13.11.16 at around 10:30 with my partner and 2 year old son . The farm was ok, shame I couldn't say the same about the staff ! I was greeted at the gate with ' what you want ' , there was no interaction whilst walking round , however the staff feeding the animals... More
