beautiful waterfall nearby Tentena (20-30' drive). Mainly visited by locals and as such need to cope with a lot of people that want to take some pictures with you. We escaped by moving up stream where you are very likely to be on your own. Take a bag to store your clothing so it doesn't get wet. The stream goes... More

Spent a day in tentena as a break from the way from rantepao to the togean islands. The waterfall was a nice surprice, as i've seen a lot of waterfalls and after you've seen a few big ones, the rest is kind of dissapointing. This waterfall was actually pretty nice. We were the only visitors, so had the whole waterfall... More

This is one of the best waterfalls what i have seen in indonesia. Defently recommended to go. The entry price was 20.000 or 25.000rp, so that is also a fair price to go insite.

Ive never seen any waterfall like this before. It has many layers of big stones which you can climb, very safety, nice, and beautiful. Plus you dont need to do long trekking to come here. The path is flat and short.

Saluopa waterfall is the most recommended place to go if you're visiting Poso area. Those giant waterfalls astonished me! I suggest you trek to the area on the top where the very first water falls. Come early in the morning! You can also set a camp there I think.

great time in waterfalls. Not too many tourist (just us and an other couple at the end of august 2016). Perfect to swim, take time to look at butterflys... THE good break on the road between Rantepao and Ampana.

From Tentan centre it is probably a 30 minutes by car. The road to this waterfall is most of the time good, some potholes, but totally doable with the scooter/bike. When you get there at the entrance you pay a fee of 20rp. After that there is a small place to get a drink or bite. A small road (600m)... More

Go early in the morning so you will be alone... It's not dirty anymore since you have to pay an entrance fee (20'000Rp). So it's clean and organized but a little like a leisure parc now... Although it's a nice experience and the water is cool and refreshing.

I highly recommend you to visit this waterfall if you visit Tentena. The water is so clear and almost nobody there (during my visit in week days). It is like your private waterfall. The forest surrounding the waterfall is also very nice. It is around 14 km from Tentena city and 300m trekking to the tropical rain forest. I hope... More
