This is one of the most interesting places of Guanacaste. We loved to be there. Mike is a biologist of the best kinds, who loves what he does … you will feel it in his tours. He has lots to offer and is most willing to give it. If you need information about butterflies, this is the place to go.... More

Once again we went into the Jungle Butterfly Farm and were not disappointed. Mike was his usual knowledgeable self and his new line of Coconut oil products was worth the visit, although I usually buy as much honey as I can too. Love all the different honeys, and loved the ambiance of being around a place where the owners love... More

Thank you so much for the great tour on your butterflyfarm, Mike! We had a wonderful time and learned so many interesting things about insects! It was great how you adjusted to the speed of our (little) kids - that made us feel very comfortable. Your place is one of the most beautiful places we have seen in Costa Rica.... More

Butterfly Mike is absolutely full of knowledge. We were able to see lots of butterflies but more than just butterflies! We saw and learned about bees, wasps, bats, ants, and monkeys! And you must ask him about his honey! His tour is a must when in this area!

Jungle Mike has a beautiful place, with plenty of butterflies, bats, and insects. Mike is very knowledgeable about these creatures, and gives an entertaining tour. If we're ever back in Pueblo Nuevo, we'll be sure to go back. His honey is delicious!

Mike is the best and we so enjoyed our time at the Butterfly Farm learning about Costa Rican nature. We even got to see a rare butterfly. Now we are home relishing our raw honey we bought there!

Butterfly Mike is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and has the upmost passion for his trade. I was skeptical at first about a butterfly tour, but we were totally blown away with his knowledge of the wildlife in the area. Make sure you get some of the Costa Rican honey he offers.

A friend and I went to Nicoya Pennisula and were recommended to visit "Butterfly Mike" by our B&B hosts. What a lovely time we had! Mike is really interesting and knowledgeable. He goes with the flow and points out what's happening around the tour, so it's feels natural and living, which I found much more enjoyable than a preset list... More

2 years ago we visited and toured the farm and bought some honey. I had been "hoarding" the honey till last year when we finally ran out. When we started planning our trip back to CR, first on my "must do" list was to get back to the Farm and get some honey!! Mike as always did not disappoint! A... More
