We stumbled across the amazing Lorge Chocolatier on the way to Gougane Barra recently and believe me, we have never been so happy to have stopped to ask for directions!! First up, is the amazing smell .... once you park outside, you are surrounded by the delicious chocolatey smells emanating from the Lorge. Hmmm, yummy. Do not be mislead by... More

We were a group of 7 adults and 7 children doing the chocolate making session and we all absolutely loved it. Dave and Roy were brilliant with the kids and we all learnt a lot as well as getting covered in chocolate. Chocolate rain was a particular highlight. It's a great way to spend a couple of hours.

My partner and I stopped into the little shop along Kenmare's Main Street before beginning the ring of Kerry and we did not regret it. The night before our camper van had been leaked into by the rain absolutely saturating our mattress and clothes. After spending the better part of our day taking our clothes to a laundromat and attempting... More

On the beautiful drive to Kenmare, you come across this little chocolate shop on the side of the road. Definitely stop! From individual truffles to jars of chocolate sauce, Lorge has it all. If you are buying gifts for others, definitely buy yourself a treat or you will end up eating your gifts. Very knowledgeable staff and they offer classes... More

We stopped on the way to Killarney, and treated ourselves to some chocolate and some pressies for friends. Well worth dropping in.

Booked in advance of arrival in kenmare and turned out to be a fantastic fun way to spend 2 hours on a "typical" irish summers day!!!. Kids loved it came out covered in chocolate and a bag of goodies. Definitely worth a visit.

Benoit saved the day with our chocolate making lesson. A family of 5 fully entertained for 90 minutes whilst it lashed down outside. In fact, you could do much worse, even on a dry day.

Our family visited Kenmare for a week and one of our highlights was the chocolate workshop at Bonane. Our children range in age from 2 to 14 and all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thanks to Benoit and David for their kindness and patience with the younger children. We have wonderful memories and photos of 6 kilos of chocolate being poured... More

Met by a French lady kind of pleasant. First reaction was ok brought out a plate of chocolate to taste but only allowed one piece. I spent €34 on chocolate and felt I had to buy it if I wanted to taste it. if her attitude was a little different I would have spent twice that amount. I told a... More
