Great History.

Looked in her when I went to visit the famine graves at Attymass, very interesting and lots of information, would recommend as a place to visit.

The location is lovely but the staff were not interested in us at all. Video being played about Fr Peyton's life not of very good quality. There is very little to do or see other than the scenery. Fr Peyton an impressive figure but this place does not really do him justice and it's not a place I would ever... More

I visited here to see what it was all about and the staff who were extremely pleasant and helpful invited us to have a look around the centre and to watch a short video ( which was about half an hour long). I was amazed to learn about Fr Peyton, his humble beginnings and how he went on to influence... More

Stopped in with family from the area, what a wonderful place. had scones, apple tart and tea in the restaurant in the back, very yummy. Don't miss the status of Fr. Peyton on the grounds.

Knew nothing about the priest before arrival but left well informed. Had a nice walk outside. A retreat was taking place so due to time was limited as to what we could see. Will be back to see what was missed.

We visited this Centre on our tour in 2010, which had been hosted by a local Monsignor from our area (Northeastern PA). It was a beautiful sunny day and the grounds are lovely. We were on a bus tour and our terrific bus driver was able to find this place, which was rather off the beaten path. He also managed... More

I visited here on a beautiful sunny day. It is not difficult to find with a sat nav and it quite well sign posted. It is located in beautiful Mayo countryside and commemorates the life of Fr. Patrick Peyton, CSC the 'Rosary Priest'. There is a beautiful and simple Rosary Garden out the back where we spent some quiet time... More

If you are coming to Mayo to visit knock then its well worth visiting this centre. At the foot hills of OX mountains, spectacular views. Nice to see something off the beaten track as they say.

The Memorial Centre is a bit of a rocky drive from entering town of Ballina. Audio Visual unit is very good. Peaceful garden setting

Worth a visit if in the area. Interesting stop in a rural area of rugged beauty. A memorial center dedicated to the 'Rosary Priest', but could be interesting, even for the non-religious, due to the historic background and the scenic qualities of the country surrounding the Center.
