Bundoran Golf Course is an eighteen hole championship golf course situated on the stunning Northwest Atlantic coastline of Donegal. Almost all the holes have stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The course rarely plays the same two days running due to the wind factor. However it is suitable for both the low and high handicapper. As Harry Vardon said when designing the course he hoped it would "give pleaseure to all golfers of all degrees".

Decided on an early 18 holes hoping to miss the rain! Weather gods were kind, at least from the staying dry view point, but very windy. Tough test, particularly in the wind. Course in good condition with good even paced greens.Less punishing rough than some links courses make it a slightly easier test for a mid to high handicapper. All... More

A nice course that is challenging. It demands the vast array of shots for, playing links golf. Greens are fast n true....some very nice holes, 5th, 11th, 12th & 18th. The wind was kind but made shot selection needing a bit of thought. Short par 3s well bunkered. Would be a good way to start a links week in Donegal.

I play here every year it's a very decent challenge that is quite hard to score on. The front nine is much easier in my opinion. The course itself is OK there are better courses around but they don't offer the value or the hospitality that bundoran offers. I would recommend this to anyone the way I would rate it... More

Played the course as part of the West Coast Challenge Classic, although as seen as probably the easier of the 4 courses, we played in a very strong wind which made it as difficult as the previous 3 courses in WCC.The greens were very fast and the fairways were lush and nice, the only negative was that the rough was... Challenging 18 hole course with wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean - a very healthy day's outing as there is usually a very bracing sea-air. Golf Professionals very friendly & helpful. Bar staff also very welcoming, as were the local members. However, the bar-snack menu is somewhat limited. Would definitely thus beautiful course.

We started our golfing trip in the north-west by playing Bundoran and we all enjoyed it. We were a group of eight men, hcp 8-22, the links was a challenge for all of us - without being giant long. Marvelous sea views from most holes, good condition, well looked after. In the clubhouse we felt comfortable and welcome. I would... More

On reading your review of Bundoran Golf Club, I can honestly say you have not been to our golf club. We do not offer the menu you described and we do not have different areas in our club house or have a reception area. We are a golf course that has a small club house beside the Great Northern Hotel... More

This was my first experience of links golf and I was not disappointed. The fairways and greens were all in excellent condition and the many bunkers provided a difficult challenge. The views are great too.

Thank you for your comments and delighted that you enjoyed playing our golf course. Was disappointed to read that you were unable to get tea in our club house as our bar serves snacks, alcoholic beverages, tea and coffee throughout the day during the summer season. Our Pro Shop has also tea and coffee available. Hope you will come back... More
