Fun live tour that was different that some other distillery tours we have done. Irish whiskey has its own style and process so it was good to learn what the differences are. At the end there are samples in the bar area. We actually had...More

The tour featured a lot of history as well as detailed description of the distillation process. Very informative and the guides were knowledgable and pleasant. Of course the highlight was the tasting at the end. There is also a nice gift shop.

If you are a whiskey fan, this is really worth the visit. The tour guides are knowledgeable and getting to see how it was produced in the old days is quite interesting. Not to mention you can get a few bottles you cannot get here...More

My partner and I, along with two friends recently enjoyed a 10 day holiday in Ireland. We started just north of Shannon in Doolin and then drove south along the coast towards Kinsale. Then we drove north east towards Dublin our last stop before heading...More

The tour was excellent, one of the better distillery tours we did! Our tour guide was great, and it was especially interesting to see the cross-sections of different aged whiskeys. It comes with a complimentary glass of Jameson - and if you're one of the...More

A mere half hour from Cork, this is a must-see for lovers of drink and culture. The staff is both knowledgeable and kind (particularly Liz and Kira), and the entire experience is well worth your time. Make sure to take advantage of the Jameson shuttle...More

Very cool experience. I learned everything there is to know about whiskey. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Parts of the tour are outside so luckily the weather held up, though it was unseasonably warm. Takeaway? Whiskey, ginger ale and lime on ice...Great...More

Very organized and nice tour! I'm not a whiskey drinker but others with me were. Took quick city bus from Cork and tour lasted about 1 1/2 hours. Almost missed the bus back so just be sure to know when the last bus comes!

Went here a few months ago and I must say it was such a great day trip! The tour was very interesting and the staff were very friendly, but the best part was definitely the premium tasting! Worth the money 100%, and an experience you...More

Great insight into the making of Jameson whiskey. From history to barrel making to aging and bottling. The tasting section was a nice touch!

There is a cafe in the distillery. They serve Fish and Chips, but I can't say it's the best I've had. From what I could tell, they close the cafe around 3 pm, so if you're tour is later, you might want to eat in town. There... More

I'd agree with all the other answers. I'd also like to point out that bored children on the tour would be a distraction for the rest of the tour group. At another distillery that I toured recently, there were a dozen adults... More

Yes, the guided tour is mandatory, the there are a few exhibition pieces to see before the tour starts, and it's the shop that would open before hand,
