Thanks to Sean and all the super staff at the Model Railway Village. Fantastic venue for my little girls birthday. Such a fantastic facility on our doorstep. The train ride was the making of the day. Well done to all.

We used an offer in conjunction with one of the west cork guide books available from the tourist office which allowed one free child entry on production of the guide. That certainly made it a bit of... More

This is a nice way to pass an afternoon in Clonakilty, The local towns and villages are here at a small scale - you do not have to be from the area to appreciate them

Went here in summer , hadnt been in a few yrs since the kids were smaller . While it was a nice attaraction at one time , the models could do with a bit of a revamp . They have become tired looking , and for the entry price it is simply not worth the cost . We were in... More

Spent an enjoyable visit here on a glorious autumn day. Great detail and for older visitors the panels are fantastic with lots of interesting details about the towns and buildings and the train lines of west Cork. The train ride is worth doing for kids, but surprisingly the adults really enjoyed it on the day as Clonakilty main street is... More

Situated about 1.5 kilometers out of the town which can be walked but is a bit of a pull up the hill so i would advise driving to it It has a fine car park. Thinking this would be a collection of model trains housed in a building we were surprised that it covered a large outside area , very... More

At first thought it would only be good for teens, but everyone seemed to enjoy. Takes about hour and 1/4 to really see and enjoy.

We visited the model railway in August, we were collected by a train from The Quality Hotel and dropped off at the village. The village was very well laid out and had a cafe also. There was a video playing in a room also to give you the history of the west cork railway. At the end of your visit the... More
