My friend was visiting Cork for the first time. I decided to take her to Kinsale and it happened that the boat was about to leave. The cruise lasted for 50 minutes. The rates were quite reasonable. The views were breathtaking and the tour is guided which helps. The seats are quite comfy and the boat was clean.

Kinsale is made for walking about but seeing it from the water adds a new and interesting view, as well. It was a grey afternoon, and a bit blustery, too. We did spend most of the tour outside, but then went into the cabin of the boat to warm up. We weren't alone... The tour was very interesting and we... More

It was a very pretty ride through Kinsale Harbour..but that's about it. There are several other tours not highly advertised that do 2 hour rides that go out to the coast. But we did enjoy this, it is just a slow tour of the inner harbour- great photo opportunities

Great way to see the bay. Our guide was very informative, telling us about the history of surrounding buildings, headlands and culture. The tour takes 50 minutes and currently €12.50 but if 6 or more in a party there is a discount. Seating is on an upper deck, the stairs are steep and not good for people with poor mobility.... More

It is pleasant enough to sit on a boat on a beautiful day and take a 45 minute ride around the harbour. However, the volume of the recording was not high enough and if there is anyone talking around you, you will not be able to hear it (perhaps there are local ordinances regulating the volume?). Furthermore, the recorded voice... More

The trip is approximately 45 minutes long and you only tour around the immediate area of the marina. Based on other reviews, we expected to be treated to a bit of history of Kinsale with the captain providing the info. Instead, they play a pre-recorded message that's not very engaging, exciting or interesting. Unfortunately, the person speaking is a bit... More

The harbour tour was a slow ride clockwise once around the harbour. The views are quite lovely all around. Best to sit on the port side to get the best views and camera angles without looking over other passengers. We had no trouble hearing the recorded narration as others have mentioned, but the boat was only about half full. Definitely... More

Came across this tour while walking along the harbor. Jumped on board and were pleasantly surprised. Lots of interesting points on the narration. Very relaxing even with the kids running up and down. My heart was in my mouth at times as I fully expected one of them to disappear over board at any moment. No toilet on board but... More

We lucked out on our day trip to Kinsale, we had a perfectly beautiful, sunny day. So we hopped onto the boat and headed out on a tour of the harbor. The narration of sights provided information on everything we passed, including the fort. It was a delightful picture-perfect 45 minutes full of boats and scenic shores. Would recommend, especially... More
