a very good experience. The commentary is pre recorded but this does not detract from the tour which is about 1 hour. Many of the comments relate to the forts which the English built, but take this with a pinch of salt

Unreliable in that twice this week we have mounted the children in carry harnesses and arrived to find the cruises have been cancelled. OK the Sunday cancellation was understandable due to the windy weather. It was open on Monday as the winds had eased but...More

I would recommend this cruise as a great way to get views and pictures of Kinsale Harbour & Charles Fort from the water. We were lucky to take this cruise on a sunny day so we sat on the upper deck. It was a nice...More

A very nice hour's cruise with a choice of sitting outside or in a comfy chair inside. The recorded commentary was informative and covered all the main points up and down the harbour. There's a bar downstairs with the nice touch of free tea and...More

Nice trip around the harbour with helpful advice about the history of Kinsale . Complimentary hot drinks provided and a comfortable seating area both inside the boat and on top. Worth a trip if you have an hour to spare

Thoroughly enjoyed the Kinsale Harbour Cruise, which allowed for excellent views of Charles Fort and James Fort, along with a history of the area provided by knowledgeable guides. The boat even offered warm, wooly blankets as there was a bit of a chill in the...More

Takes about an hour, takes you out past Charles Fort to the harbour mouth and back in again, you get some great views of kinsale coming back in, we even saw a seal swimming alongside us, highly recommend and not expensive.

I agree with previous post. The cruise is an hour long. It stays light late that time of year so you should be able to catch a late afternoon cruise
