Stumbled on this pub after walking into the one next-door, and told if we wanted a genuine boozer simply climb the linked stairs into the Greyhound. Had a great night, good music, great atmos and very good Guiness.

WE really liked exploring the lovely town of Kinsale with all its narrow streets and alleys, but the busloads of folks from the tours that fill the newer "gastro pubs" closer to the waterfront/main street area was just a little too busy in the afternoon for what my wife and I wanted. Just a short stroll away we found "the... More

It's been a while since we've been to The Greyhound but it will remain a poignant memory from our trip to Co Cork. We initially chose the pub simply by the name as we had a rescue greyhound. Good choice though as it's a lovely pub with helpful and friendly staff. A damn good pint too!

I traveled all around Ireland for 2 weeks and this was my favorite pub of the trip. No TVs and such here--it's a flashback to a simpler time where the night's entertainment consists of craic and a pint in hand. Decor is worn in (in a good way) and cozy. Nice selection of beers--wouldn't be a proper County Cork pub... More

We went here on a recommendation from a friend and loved it. You can drink indoors or outdoors; indoors is a real, authentic old man's pub and then surprises you with a great wine list and a fantastic gin list. See the photo! Also, there are 3 tonic options. I was in heaven. Don't miss out on here.

This pub is from the 1600s - small but interesting. Some outside seating. Enjoy a Murphy's and have some fun!

If you are looking for a true old school pub experience in Kinsale, this is the place to be. It is from the 1600's, and has a lot of charm. The sister bar, the Market is cool with a little more RocknRoll attitude.

Th Greyhound is a really fascinating little pub. Very small and very old, it is everything you dreamed an Irish pub would be. Gathered around the cozy fire we met some locals and now have new friends! An experience not to be missed in Kinsale.
