This is a great 27 hole course, we played the original 18 holes and there is a sting in the tail! The first 9 lull you into a false sense of wellbeing, with a tough back 9 to finish. Its a fabulous experience especially when the weather is good, a great Eddie Hackett layout and hard to believe it hasn't... More

I have played many of the top links courses in Ireland and Scotland and this ranks up there among the best. It is fair, yet challenging, and you will need every shot in the book to score well. The clubhouse is really nice and all staff working there are very welcoming and friendly. A golf course you must play.

This is a superb example of a pure links course with sea on one side and hills around. Open to the elements and using the contours superbly. I will definitely have to come back and play it at another time.

Top class golf course, as far west in Ireland as one can go, next stop New York.!! If you are a golfing enthusiast then this is a must. It's a bit of a drive, rural Ireland but well worth the trip. This is a gem of a course.

My dad and I have been coming to Connemara golf club for 19 yrs. The golf course is a world class links course and in my opinion one of the best courses in Ireland. The course offers great value when compared to other links courses in Ireland. Warm and friendly staff, not to be missed

If you enjoy a real golf challenge then this is the course for it. It is seldom that there is no wind, anything from a gentle breeze to a storm. With super greens and fairways all add up to a real challenge. Then whether you are a golfer or not pay a visit to the Restaurant or Coffee Shop. They... More

I was part of a golf group that played golf here for three days on the 21/22 and 23 April. We found the golf course in excellent condition throughout. Staff in the golf shop and restaurant and bar were very helpful at all times. I would highly recommend the course to any golfer traveling to play golf in Galway or... More

May I say what a great days golf had at these superb links in one of the most scenic locations in Ireland if not this planet we live on. The course is an outstanding links but made that more special by the whole staff who run it, the guys in the pro shop were top draw and an absolute pleasure... More

Connemara Golf Course at Ballyconneely is one of the top links courses in Ireland. Long course, very exposed to the elements. Can be very windy.

Great golf course which will test all of your game and skills. Always enjoy the challenge if Connemara links. However i have to say the price was very steep just to play a round of golf with 2 members and there wasn't a midweek open competition. Apparently the only run these in the winter. It is the only downside i... More
