This is a unique experience for sure! There’s lunch if you are hungry and a lovely gift shop. The highlight though is when a tractor pulls you up a mountain in a trolley car! Martin, the owner and lover of history, shares the history of...More

Nice stop off to kill and hour or two. Staff were all friendly and we enjoyed looking around and walking to the cottage. Did not see many animals or have a tractor ride however. Worth a visit as it is not overly expensive

The enthusiasm and kindness of the staff made a very pleasant visit. Unfortunately it was quite a climb up to Dan O`Haras Cottage so we missed a closeup. Apart from a short film there was not a lot to see and it was an expensive...More

Started off with a 20 minute video of Connemara history which was interesting enough. After we went to the recommended (by the lady at reception), wondering where the history and heritage piece was. We found 3 small cottages with no description of any kind. The...More

We didn't quite make sense of this site. Where the "historic" structures in the garden real or artificial? We were allowed to walk through the fields to see the Connemara ponies or not? And as we didn't have time to wait around for the start...More
