Myself & my husband spent a weekend in Mount Juliet with friends to celebrate a significant birthday. It is a beautiful place. The staff are really impressive - a combination of impeccable training & innate people skills in all cases! I loved the beautiful grounds and the chance to see the majestic mares and their foals in Ballylinch Stud.

I went to Mount Juliet with my son. My son is 13 years old and is a keen swimmer. So when we got to the hotel we went to the pool which is about a 3 minute walk down the road from the hotel. When we got to the pool we were told that my son was only allowed in... More

Great for a walk (mind the golf balls) followed by lunch in the posh clubhouse. The afternoon tea in the main house is good but order one for two plus an extra cuppa as there is too much.

Everything is first class at Mount Juliet, from the welcome, the complementary estate tour, the accommodations, the bar, the dining, and the Jack Nicklaus golf course. All terrific. The service is over the top – Mount Juliet could offer seminars to improve service almost anywhere else. This is a dream vacation spot; you probably shouldn't use it as a jumping... More

Great pub food club at an outstanding golf resort. Close to everything. Recommend the shrimp and linguini.

As a child we visited the Mount Juliet estate to play with children who lived there - the estate managers children not the owner! So going back to walk through the house and have a drink overlooking the river was a trip down memory lane. The three rooms leading to the bar were all full of younger people having afternoon... The estate is so big and has great walks around the gardens, woods and along the river nore that runs through it,there is also a stud that breeds horses which are spread out over a huge area in large fields and usually you can see lots of you foals, you can also go into the large very grand old house that is... We stayed two nights in a room requiring a climb of three flights of stairs to get to. There were five stairs down to the bathroom. The room had no ac and the heat could not be regulated by the guest (the bellman attempted to turn off the heat, but the room was stuffy and opening the windows let insects... More
