A beautiful peninsula. A favorite route is over the Kealy Pass or if you have more time, around the point. Quiet, natural and spectacular views.

Together with driving around Dingle these two I can recommend. Ring of Kerry is nice but the huge number of touringcars spoil the fun. But when you have the time: even drive around on the Ring of Kerry.

The Beara Way is an absolutely wonderful walk on the Beara Peninsula and wild flowers, animals and birds abound around you as you stroll along a long but generally gentle stroll, well not too demanding! Bring your flask and your sandwiches and take your time...More

Much prettier to go over Healy pass than to go all the way around the peninsula. Wonderful views from the top.

Wonderfull views all way round scenery especially on a clear day. Roads can be a problem in places as they are really narrow and vegetation is not cut back by local council.

Never moved from the peninsula the whole week and still did not do everything. Lovely and quiet and able to spend a really relaxing week here. Mountains, mountains, sea and more mountains - just wonderful. We touched on and off the walk and highly recommended.

It is so worth a visit and breathtakingly beautiful. There are great shops in the village, and lovely places to stop for coffee.

The beara penninsula is excellent, it touristy at all , much less traffic then dingle or the ring of Kerry. The sights are spectacular, tons of cafes and great places to stop. Skip the traffic and treat yourself to this spectacular ride
