The drive around is easy and pleasant despite the narrow roads. Luckily it is not as packed as the rings of Dingle and Kerry as the roads are not yet ready for busses. Looking at the ongoing roadworks the Beara team is most likely preparing...More

We went right round the Beara Peninsula on one of the wettest days I have ever seen and it was still absolutely spectacular. Very beautiful on the north coast and atmospheric in the mists. The sun actually came out for half an hour while we...More

We stayed at a house near Glengariff on the Beara Peninsula and had the opportunity to tour the area and go on the Beara Way. It was incredible with views and vistas that were spectacular. We went all the way to Dursey Island and from...More

Although the weather wasn't as it's best our day was great. We drove from Glengarriff to Allihies, Eyeries, Laurgh and back to Glengarriff. It was amazing! What a view! If you want yo see nature, landscapes as it's best, this is the place. Fantastic!

Ring of Beara is magnificent, especially Healy's Pass from Adrigole to Lauragh. Really enjoyed the Uragh Stone Circle. Short charming walk with picturesque views and loch. Mare's Tail waterfall in Adrigole is beautiful, but don't bother driving down road to get closer- ends in private...More
