The island is an interesting example of what a landscape architect can do when given free rein and a big budget. We were there in October and most of the plants in the gardens were beyond their prime, but the overall design is beautiful. I...More

You have to travel by ferry and then pay to get on the very small island. Would not do this again. Found it to be a huge let down considering the cost of getting there.

Trip start with a boat ride out to the island. When you step off the island is covered with absolute beauty. I highly recommend checking out this hidden treasure.

What a fantastic little garden Ireland with the chance to spot seals on the short boat trip to get over to it. Just wonderful.

Hi, Most people spend between 1-3 hours on the Island depending on your interest in Gardens, if you take the tour of the house or have some food while on the Island. Hope you enjoy the trip
