We stayed in Ardara and went to the caves which are fifteen minutes away. You pass this on the way so stop and take a picture. When we were there the water was a little brown...still beautiful though

This waterfall is on the way to the Maghera caves, right beside the road. There had been a lot of recent rain and the waterfall was in full flow and was impressive as it ran towards the small channel to the sea. Spend 15 minutes...More

Lovely waterfall right beside the road. There is actually a grave on the site, too, which is very sad. The road follows the beach in a gentle curve out toward Maghera. I would say it is about 7 or 7 1/2 k out to the...More

Close to the road side, this is a waterfall that can be enjoyed by a frail or disabled traveller. The falls themselves are beautiful and the scenery to and from from Ardara is magnificent. Use Google Maps or be prepared to follow a number of...More

We got SO lost trying to find this place (and Maghera Beach), but that's part of the fun of traveling, right? Completely worth it once we found it. The turn off is about 1 mile south of Ardara and it's not very well marked coming...More

This is an incredibly beautiful waterfall, and it takes no work to reach it. It is literally right on the side of the road and you can pull right up to see it. Lovely.

This waterfall is visible from miles away, but it is somewhat hard to find. Just outside Ardara, you have to look for a sign and follow a narrow road a few miles and viola, there it is! I was there when there was only one...More

I wondered myself. Might ask in the village, maybe in the Heritage center’s little coffee shop or at Nancy’s.

Heading from Ardara to killybegs in Co. Donegal, about a mile outside of town, there is a right hand turn which will eventually take you to Maghera beach, the waterfall is on this road, you can't miss it.
