The museum is rather small and in 30-45 minutes one can see all there is to see. I think the collection is rather small and unsatisfying. However as there is no entrance fee its an ok place to visit on a rainy day to kill...More

Not busy on our visit, but there is plenty of interest if you have an interest in local history. Plenty of free literature available on various topics. On our visit a lot of focus was on emigration and the causes thereof. Free admission.

Was in Letterkenny in February with my wife and we decided to call in and check out the museum. Great exhibition and was surprised to see so much about Unionism in Co Donegal and WW1 etc.

The museum has some good historical information to learn about. Don't expect much, the exposition doesn't change, the place is actively participating in various town festivals, otherwise it is rarely visited.

First I’d like to say how helpful the staff were at the museum. They were knowledgeable and gave useful advice about our stay. The museum had some very interesting exhibitions that told a good story with the use of display boards and charts but there...More

I found the museum quite disappointing. Only one floor of information. Not much packed into the space of the floor. Toilets available

Two floors with a lot of reading to do but informative and well laid out. Free entry and efficient staff. Worth a hour of your time.
