We really wanted to visit this center describing the life of St. Comcille, but in mid September, it was closed for the season. We did take some photos of the changing colors on the road into the center which we enjoyed.

Loved learning the history of the area and taking photos among the reproduction cottages. The tea room has great tea & scones, and I understand the soup they make (which smelled heavenly, but I didn't get to try) is made from a recipe that hasn't...More

Quite hard to find this place but is worth it. The views of the loch and surrounding areas are beautiful. Take your time, relax and watch the film. Feel yourself transported back in time. Follow your visit by going to birthplace of st colmcille

A historical place on the way to Glennveagh. On the cemetery only People from the area are burried. The cemetery is located beautifully above two lakes and I guess is a good final place.
