We were initially worried this would be a cheesy theatric dinner experience, but boy were we wrong!!!! You get to attend a dinner reception inside the Castle Great Hall with tradition singing and music while drinking the best mead we've ever tried!!!! Then you go...More

There were 3 of us in our party and it was a fun night with great Irish entertainment. The food is just ok and the place is crowded so you are sitting on long picnic benches side by side. We enjoyed the two hours we...More

My husband and I and another couple were booked for dinner by our travel agent. Here in America there are medieval dinners that are not so good. We were absolutely blown away on how professional the singers and the musicians were and the food was...More

First you climb up to a room where they give you some kind of honey wine drink. There is like 200 hundred people in this room. Then you make your way down the stairs again, to a banquet hall. You are jammed into tables with...More

Food was very good. Entertainment great. Fun night, glad we included it in our trip. It sounds touristy but we talked to many people from Ireland who also enjoyed it.

This banquet in the castle was a fun experience. Was concerned about cramped dinner seating going in, but it turned out to be fine. Food and drink was plentiful and tasty, music and entertainment created a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend for an evening's outing!

This was an incredibly entertaining and delicious evening! All of the actors were humorous and accommodating. The food was delicious and the evening as a whole had you leaving the castle on a high note!

Hi, our family is coming in June and will be seeing the Bunratty Banquet late show (8:30pm/20:45) on a Saturday evening. However, we are spending the week in Galway. I wanted us to ride a bus to the castle, but have now realized there are no late night buses back to Galway after the late banquet. Does anyone have a suggestion?? Am I reading the bus timetables wrong?? We have already booked the apartment or I would just book a room somewhere else. Bunratty Castle to Galway apartment transportation ideas??

You can book through the website. TA won't let me post the link so just Google Bunratty Castle Banquet. The website is called Shannon Heritage. It is very easy.
