We have mixed feelings visiting this WWII Memorial. First, we felt sorry for the departed; second, a sense of pride for their selfless sacrifices; then, a sense of serenity & calmness knowing that they are finally laid to rest peacefully in this beautiful memorial park....More

When I travel I always make a point of visiting these places and pay my respects. So important to honor those who gave their life. Very moving.

a very nice kept memorial park, very meaningful to the locals, to remember those who sacrifices in the war, lest we forgot.

We found the grave and headstone of my husbands grand uncle who was killed after the surrender. He was a prisoner of war of the Japanese. The Cemetery wasn't kept as immaculate as the ones in Europe, but well kept by the locals.

Nice memorial, well maintained.Nothing much to see actually, just to pay respect to the " fallen heroes " of the past. Quite, peaceful environment. There are some stalls selling food n drinks should you need to rest.

Beautifully landscaped memorial garden where 3906 war heroes who died in battle or captivity in Borneo during WWII are laid to rest. Every November, a commemoration would be held to honor the lives of these valiant men who fought during the war.

THis place is a really peaceful place. The Memorial reminds me of the people who died on both sides of the war.I can't believe that real people were buried here. this place is an attraction worth visiting.
