This is an amazing museum of local social history. Fascinating presentation of how real life was in the period of our parents generation...1920-1960. From the street we went in to look at a small exhibition of local art, we found an amazing photographic history of the local area. Whilst we were looking at the photos the lady from the front desk just came and opened up the museum for us. We didn't realise it was there until we went down into the undercroft and found this amazing place. Anyone interested in rural life of the period, farming, cloth making, woodworking, metalworking, shoemaking, cooking will find something here.

We walked around on a hot summer evening. The town is well lit with a fantastic old gate tower. The church inside is beautiful. There are no tourist shops or restaurants within old town. Great views around Italian hilly country side.
