Great food
Dec 2019
Really good variety of food. Get there early as everything sells out quickly. BYO beer etc. There was so much choice it made decisions difficult. Main course and desserts equally gooc.

A Must See Venue
Oct 2019 • Solo
While spending 5 nights at nearby Aroko Bungalows,i walked to Muri Night Market on several occasions to explore the food served and i was very happy to see the various options sold. The market opens a few nights a week and i would suggest you get there when it opens at 5pm so you have a wider selection of food to choose from before the vendors run out of it.I miss getting my dinner from the night market but plan to return when i next visit Rarotonga again.

Tried a bit of everything.

The market is open 4 nights a week, and we went and tried a variety of dishes. Our least favourite was Peters Pizza first night we went they had sold out early so we thought they must be good. Went early the next night and had the peperoni [$20] which came with either a bottle of water or pop. For an extra $2 we added mushrooms, Pizza was quick and the mushrooms consisted of a couple of storks on 2 slices. Was'nt impressed with the pizza at all, Trader Jacks, Castaways and Blue Mango have better products. Our favourite was the guy's selling the seafood curry and the Garlick Shrimp, both $15. The Garlick Shrimp was fantastic, 14 to 16 large shrimp in a very tasty sauce over rice. Other places selling a variety of noodle and rice dishes, all worth a try. We finished it of with a banana/coconut/mango crepe with a splash of cream for $8

Night Market

This was a lovely night out to get some dinner. We had eaten at a few restaurants around the island. It was a lovely change to chill and have some home cooked meals.... And finish with the crepes ... mmmm

Interesting

Firstly I find the name of this place wrong is not in the market. It’s a food market. It was a good choice of food but the prices were average some restaurants in town with the same price or cheaper. What we had was still delicious disappointing that some stores were already run out of food at 6:00 pm. One thing I didn’t like was the loud music. It felt more like a night club. So I won’t come again.

Desserts Fabulous
Feb 2020
Had read about the desserts served here, so bought them before dinner. They do sell out. Many people just come to the night market to pick up the desserts. So many varieties - hard to decide. Had the berry cheesecake and is was fantastic.

Good Food and Atmosphere
Jan 2020
The Muri Night Market was open Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday, and Sunday when I was visiting Rarotonga. It is not so much a true market (at least when I visited) as it is some very good food stalls. If you go during the week it can be quiet off season, so go early. I had some great seafood dishes and tasty wood-fired pizzas.

Great food at incredible prices. We ate here 4 times trying all the different options. Our favorites were the noodles, bbq and the garlic prawns!

This was not a disappointment. Neat to walk around the different vendors and make a decision about what you might like. Our group ate the Seafood coconut curry, Vegetable stir fry with rice and lastly at Seaman two of us has Seafood curry which had shrimp, squid, mussels, vegetables in a sauce. All meals were outstanding.
