The 20KM hike from Liscannor to Doolin was one of the highlights of my 11 day trip to Ireland! There are some steep inclines and definitely narrow steps, so just be aware of that!

Did a short walk about 2.5 miles each way from the Doolin entrance. Maintained well, beautiful views and breathtaking waterfalls. Did the walk as a stroll without a guide, if it had been earlier in day would have liked to go all the way to...More

I always do the 2-3 hour hike from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher. I usual take Bus Eireann back to Doolin or have a friend pick me up at the Cliffs. I would call this a moderate hike (irregular path, need to watch your...More

As far as I'm concerned, this is the only way to see the Cliffs of Moher. If you drive to them, you miss so much and get stuck in a tourist trap. The views along the "walk" are FANTASTIC, and Pat Sweeny is a character...More

The Cliff's are a destination of course and the tourist center/museum isn't a slouch outfit either ! This should be a highlight for your visit to the Isle.

This was a great outdoor event with lovely scenery. We had a limited amount of time so did not walk the entire way. The views were stunning!

Pat was unavailable but Sam took us on the walk and was wonderful. We weren't really sure what we were getting into but knew we wanted to see the cliffs beyond the visitor center so we showed up. It was amazing. It was breathtaking. Words...More

Not for the faint of heart -literally- Pat Sweeney was not available, but his assistant Charlie and Sam were. As a more "mature" couple who probably should have exercised more before this excursion, the trip was breathtaking -again literally. We came prepared with water and...More

While it is true you can walk this amazing trail with out Pat Sweeney, it would not be possible for you to do so, with out Pat Sweeney. He, and his passion for his country and his boyhood home, are the reason this trail exists...More
