This was a beautiful way to see the Cliffs of Moher. The trail was not crowded and we enjoyed the hike even though it was raining.

It's a beautiful walk and I highly recommend seeing the cliffs. I suggest entering through the primary cliff entrance and visitor center since I am giving it a low rating for one primary reason. We planned to have our wedding blessing done at Hag's Head...More

We walked from Doolin to Liscanor in beautiful sunshine and saw lots of wild flowers in full bloom. We picnicked at the Visitor centre before resuming our hike then caught the minibus back to Doolin - a lovely day!

I wouldn't want to see the Cliffs any other way. It was a mildly strenuous walk from Doolin that took about 2 hours and was worth every minute. Amazing scenery and so serene.

We only spent an hour here as we were heading on to visit relatives in Waterford, but we still had a nice time. The tower was not open, so would try to check before visiting again. You can order tickets online and save a few...More

This was one of the top experiences of our trip to Ireland. Pat Sweeny was GREAT, knowledgeable, funny, and willing to share his passion for his cliffs and his County Clare. Well worth the fare but be prepared for a strenuous walk (hike?). I'm reasonably...More

An INCREDIBLE hike from Doolin to the Cliffs. It was muddy, with rain, sleet, full sun and no shortage of rainbows and beautiful vistas!

We were here 6 years ago and from the Cliffs visitor's center walked along the cliff to the castle on the end. Now it's all cut back and we had to trip over people just sitting on the path smoking and taking selfies and more...More

This area is one of the most beautiful in Ireland. The walk is easy and the wild flowers plentiful! One can walk up to the edge of the cliffs but I wouldn't advise it. Cows, flowers, cliffs, green, green, and more green; stream and ocean...More

TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR WALKING EXPERIENCE you can go to McDermotts pub on main St in Doolin at 10am and be given lots of local insight and knowledge about not only the cliffs but that part of the clare coastline as well... More
Hi, I recently injured my knee but walking the cliffs had been a priority on the trip. This is our first trip to Ireland. Is there a way to see the cliffs with easy walking? I might be able to limp a kilometer or so. Are there multiple points one can drive to and take in a variety of view points? We will be spending the night in Doolin and driving the next day to Dingle via the ferry. Thanks, Ione

You can definitely drive to the visitors centre, and all depending on the current fitness level with your knee injury, you can walk up towards O'Brien Tower where there are steps or a sloped solid ramp. You can also walk... More

I guess it would depend on how well behaved the children are and how far you plan on taking them, you could visit the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre and walk towards the O'Brien Tower.. this part would be fine. However I... More
