Tomb of King Khai Dinh is a must see. A blend of both eastern and western architecture and located on a steep hill just outside of Hue.

Such a beautiful place, must see when in Hue. This tomb was my favorite here. It is a bit far from the city center, so we visited with a pre organized tour, it did worth the money and the ride.

First time in Hue, we visited Tomb of Khai Dinh. Looks a little run down, but overall it was a good place to visit.

This royal tomb complex was built at the hill slope of Chau Chu‘s mountain about 10km from Hue City. It is a small tomb nevertheless I would said the most sophisticated and elaborate with colourful details if compare to others Nguyen Dynasty Tombs. Minh Mang...More

The exterior of the tomb looked very run down but don’t be deceived - when you go into the tombs itself, it is very extravagant. Ceramic tiled artwork throughout which took 11 years to complete a seems a little extravagant considering the wealth of the...More

You can arrange a private car/taxi to chauffeur you around to all these locations. This can easily be arranged with help from your hotel receptionist or one of the travel agencies in town (VN travel for instance). I think... More

All the tombs are near each other and to Hue city, at most 10-15km each leg. We paid 550k for a driver to take us to three tombs and wait 30min for us at each, about 3 hours total.
