I would check it is open before going. We hired bikes and cycled to the tomb ( which is a great way of getting there with lovely views along the way) but when we arrived at the tomb there was a guard at the entrance...More

This was interesting from a historic point of view. It is only smallish but steep, so people with mobility issues stay away. It had some nice features and was worth a quick 20 minute visit. The mosaics were pretty. Not really more to see than...More

Heavily influenced by French architecture it is a majestic tomb. Decorations made of ceramic, glass, mosaics, porcelain and marble are impressive and so are the huge dragons sculptures. Worth a visit.

Situated on a mountain side, the Tomb is accessible from the road and you climb stairs to get from level to level. It's all made of rock and it contrasts with nature all around. The infrastructure is great, the statues are nice and when you're...More

Lots of steps to get to the top of the Tomb. Complex is not as vast (when compared to the other Kings' tombs, but the ceramic tiling on structures were beautiful. Design is very different from the other tombs. To see this tomb, the tomb...More

Of the emperor or king tomb that I have visited, this is definitely the most well preserved majestic, artistic and cultural tomb that I have seen. Tomb of Khai Dinh is one that you must not missed. When you arrived and see how elaborated this...More

My favourite of the 3 main tombs. Khai Dinh was known to have a penchant for wearing makeup and dressing up. His tomb is set at the top of a long set of steep steps. The theme is a dramatic black and white and resembles...More

You can arrange a private car/taxi to chauffeur you around to all these locations. This can easily be arranged with help from your hotel receptionist or one of the travel agencies in town (VN travel for instance). I think... More

All the tombs are near each other and to Hue city, at most 10-15km each leg. We paid 550k for a driver to take us to three tombs and wait 30min for us at each, about 3 hours total.
