This church is worth a visit on the way back to Olden from the glacier. The church is set about 1km up the valley from the village. An enjoyable walk to see the local environment

I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked into town from the ship, but this lovely church was worth the trip. Very peaceful with a rustic interior and a quiet cemetary in a lovely fjord setting.

Beautiful and quaint. well worth a visit. Its not too far from the dock, but a bus trip will take you there.

I'm probably biased about visiting this church because apparently my great-grandfather was married there many years ago. And, just recently, I surprised my parents there with a bouquet, a veil, Norwegian family and an organist to renew their vows! If you're Norwegian, like I am,...More

On the edge of town this is a well kept and colourful church. The wood structure is well maintained and inside it is very light and peaceful. Well worth a walk too.

Currently undergoing restoration - but its a very pretty church and when fully restored it will be stunning, the Norwegians love their churches, this is a fine example and worth a visit.

From the outside, I didn't even want to go inside, but it's full of interesting details. Pick up the info at the door so as not to miss any.

Lovely little church with some ornate carvings. Certainly takes longer to walk there than spend time but after all it's a small church. Lovely surroundings so worth the walk.

We did the trip to the glacier whilst we were in olden and also decided to check out the church. It is very nice and worth seeing, but small and once you've been inside there's not a lot else to do.

This is a church built on a church. It was built as a replacement church in 1759 and is cruciform in shape, the shape of which resists strong winds. It is stunningly beautiful on both the inside and outside.

It is entirely dependent upon the weather. Good walking shoes or boots, warm jacket and trousers should suffice.
