Had a great time here with our three year old daughter. The playground is great and much bigger than expected - the photos on the website do not do it justice. The house is spectacular and has lots of fascinating exhibits. There are also boards...More

A good interesting and worthwhile visit overall. Magnificent medieval house and walled gardens. The restaurant is just a little overpriced and lacking atmosphere, a little more 'medieval' wouldn't go amiss in here. The Toy Museum, we found, was extremely interesting and good fun. The gardens have...More

Hi there. I have booked for Narnia at the weekend and would like to know how the day runs if possible. My daughter currently believes that Penshurst Place is where CS Lewis wrote the books (We have read most of them) and that the Wardrobe that inspired him still resides there. She also believes that she won't be able to get through the wardrobe, as that way doesn't work anymore, but is still desperate to know whether she will be able to have a peek inside. She is only 5 and lives mainly in a fantasy land filled with fairies and magic. Will I be able to get her as far as the wardrobe without her realising she is going to Narnia to Santa, or will the game be up once we arrive?
